Our Story

Jim started Job Done in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in 2021. When the Covid-19 pandemic began to wind down, and after 10 years of full time employment for a local firm in the utilities industry, Jim was looking for a change of direction.

Job Done came about accidentally, while Jim was using his van to run his bouncy castle business. He was approached by a friend to move some furniture in the new van, and then asked again by a friend of a friend to provide a clearance of furniture that couldn't go to their next house.

This sparked and idea. Small, partial clearances grew into larger house & office clearances, as well as many man with a van jobs. As such it quickly evolved into the business that it is today... Job Done!

With the arrival of "The Green Vantern", our beloved green Ford Transit minibus, Jim completes his first house clearance jobs.

Job Done takes on a storage, workshop & retail space inside Dundry Nurseries, Bamfurlong Lane, Cheltenham. With this new space, Job Done became better able to store & sort your waste, repair and re-use things, and recycle more efficiently.

We said goodbye to the Transit (RIP), and welcomed our new Renault Master LoLoader. Our load capacity increased & we could now take on more & bigger jobs. And with the increased head clearance, Jim didn't have a bad back anymore.

Job Done raises over £1,500 for The Butterfly Garden in its first year of trading at The Flea inside Dundry Nurseries, and begins trading at a local vintage & antiques market on the promenade in Cheltenham.
